About Me

If you’ve ever wanted to shop more intentionally and ethically but felt overwhelmed about where to start, you’re not alone. I’ve been there too. Good Maker Market began with a simple desire: to make choices that reflect my values. I want to support ethical brands, care for the people behind the products we use, and consider how our purchases affect people and the planet.

Like many people, I wanted to shop more sustainably. However, I didn’t always have the time or clear information to research every brand or product.

Meanwhile, many small businesses and makers work hard to create products responsibly. They pay fair wages, source materials thoughtfully, and prioritize sustainability. At the same time, their work often gets lost in a system built on convenience and low prices. In that system, the true human and environmental costs remain hidden.

Because of that gap, Good Maker Market exists to help connect intention with action.

Why This Matters to Me:

At the heart of Good Maker Market is something deeply personal. I want to love and care for people and this earth well. Therefore, I believe our everyday actions should align with our values.

Today, many products we use daily connect to systems that rely on unfair wages, unsafe conditions, or environmental harm. In many cases, companies keep prices low at someone else’s expense. Naturally, that reality can feel overwhelming. Still, small choices matter—especially when many people begin making them together.

When we support intentional makers, ethical brands, and thoughtfully produced goods, we help shift demand. In doing so, we move it toward systems that value fairness, sustainability, and dignity. We utilize Good On You’s ethical rating tool to help connect you to brands and products who align with these values. Supporting ethical brands and small businesses may seem small. Yet collectively, those choices create meaningful change.

Choosing Better, Together

At its core, Good Maker Market is about connection—connecting people to makers, values to action, and everyday choices to meaningful impact.

Everything shared here is chosen thoughtfully, with the intention of reducing decision fatigue and making sustainable living feel more approachable. When everyday choices begin to reflect our values, doing good becomes part of how we live—not something extra we have to strive for.

So whether you’re just beginning to think about intentional consumption or already trying to make more sustainable choices, I’m glad you’re here.

We’re all learning together.

Welcome to Good Maker Market.
